The
second order received was to provide 14 no. ODOURFLO odour control
systems across four existing sewage treatment works. The sites are
being upgraded by Laing O’Rourke and as part of those works, new odour
control facilities are being provided by ATS, which have a variety of
biofilters and carbon filters. The first two systems are now
successfully in operation at Ballynacor, with the remainder being
completed in spring.
The
third order, which has just been received, is for a range of
ventilation systems to the Duncrue Street Incinerator plant being built
in Belfast. PUREFLO displacement ventilation is being used in the main
incinerator hall and the turbine / generator room. This enables the
heat to be effectively removed with lower air volumes and energy costs.
Ventilation systems have also been included in the MCC room; switchgear
room; transformer room and the operations room, which has fully
packaged split heat pump invertor systems to ensure correct operation
of the equipment. All systems are installed as complete packages
with all associated controls and wiring and the odour control systems
have specialist electro chemical gas detection systems.
