To meet the requirement of ISO 9001, ATS underwent an extensive audit of its quality management systems that involved a 54-point assessment checklist covering 23 topics. The assessed topics included documentation requirements, management commitment, customer focus, quality policy, responsibility and communication, provision of resources and customer related processes.
Steve Boon, ATS Director said,
“We’ve always adopted a rigorous approach to our processes and procedures to ensure our clients receive the best possible service. What we found during the ISO 9001 audit, was that we were able to identify specific areas where we were able to improve our systems and service further which has reinvigorated our day to day practices which make our offer even better!”
Three-monthly reviews are now being carried out to ensure continuous improvements are implemented and ATS is committed to ensuring that staff receives support and training to take the business forward with IS0 9001.
