We are all aware of the strict temperatures required for the storage of pharmaceutical products as set out within the Medicines and Healthcare Produces Regulation Agency (MHRA) Orange Guide and British Association of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (BAPW) Gold Standard.
It
is generally accepted that without the use of mechanical cooling the EC
Regulations governing the storage of pharmaceutical products cannot be
met, and with experts predicting even hotter summers to come the
situation is only going to become more pressing.
ATS
JETFLO air induction nozzle systems are the ideal solution for offering
horizontal and vertical temperature control throughout the operational
area, even within densely racked and mezzanine areas. The roof level
ductwork provides warm or cool air into the space via a series of self
balancing Jetflo nozzles; thus requiring no high level maintenance and
no operational down time.
The
ductwork system is connected to a centralised air-handling unit (AHU)
located internally or externally; at high or low level; or on top of an
existing amenities block not using valuable floor space.
Using
specialist designed AHU’s, free summer cooling and night purging means
significantly lower energy costs and low carbon output.
Our air handling units, electrical and gas fired cooling condensers, are all listed under the governments Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme
(ECA) allowing the end client to claim 100 % capital allowances on
listed equipment and associated installation costs – potentially
recovering up to 50% of the capital outlay within the first tax year. ATS
offers a free on site survey to assess your existing HVAC systems and
advice on requirements to meet the temperatures set out within the MHRA
guidelines. As importantly we offer a solution that will provide
minimum disruption to your day to day operation; including out of hours
working and close coordination with the clients designated ‘Responsible
Person’.
